Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Adjutant ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our application and any associated developer integrations (including connections to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Google, and other third-party services).

1. Who We Are

Adjutant is a personal AI assistant application developed by JTA Ventures, LLC. It is designed for personal and small-business use to help manage communications, social media, and productivity tasks.

2. What Data the App Accesses

When you connect third-party accounts (such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Gmail, or Google Calendar), Adjutant may access:

Your account identity (name, username, profile ID) to identify which account to act on
Your Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts you administer
The ability to create and publish posts on your behalf to those accounts
Your email and calendar data (if Gmail or Google Calendar is connected) to assist with scheduling and communication tasks

3. How Data Is Stored

All data — including OAuth access tokens, account credentials, and configuration — is stored locally on your own machine in a SQLite database at ~/.config/Adjutant/adjutant.db. No data is transmitted to or stored on any servers operated by JTA Ventures, LLC.

Access tokens are stored securely on your local device and used solely to perform actions you direct the App to take.

4. How Data Is Used

Data accessed through third-party integrations is used exclusively to perform the tasks you instruct Adjutant to perform — such as posting content to social media, reading emails, or creating calendar events. We do not:

Sell, rent, or share your data with any third party
Use your data for advertising or marketing purposes
Transmit your data to any external servers outside of the third-party APIs you have explicitly connected
Retain or process data beyond what is necessary to perform your requested actions

5. Third-Party Services

When you connect accounts, Adjutant communicates directly with those platforms' APIs (Meta, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Google). Your use of those services is subject to their own privacy policies and terms of service. We encourage you to review them:

6. Data Retention

Your data remains on your local device for as long as you use the App. You can delete all stored data at any time by removing the file at ~/.config/Adjutant/adjutant.db, or by running adjutant uninstall. You can revoke any connected account's access at any time through Settings → Connections within the App, or directly through the respective platform's account settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Adjutant is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
